Cast CEO, Mark Farmer has been appointed to the governance board of the Construction Scotland Innovation Centre (CSIC). As part of a raft of changes that introduce 7 new board members, Mark will help guide the CSIC towards its aim of being one of the leading innovation hubs for construction in the UK. It’s activities in supporting the Scottish construction industry to test and develop products and processes is second to none. The CSIC will be actively engaging with the UK government’s Transforming Construction Programme with Innovate UK funding opportunities.
Mark said, “I am delighted to be able to join the CSIC board. This is an exciting time for construction and the capability and ambition I see in Stephen Good and the CSIC team suggests they can make a real impact in the Scottish construction industry and start to drive modernisation in a sector where it is long overdue.”
