Cast’s director for advisory services, Jeff Endean, recently spoke at the annual Builders Merchants Federation Members Conference. Sharing a stage with Brendan Twomey, MD of Berkeley Modular, Jeff set out thoughts on the developing MMC market, the opportunities and challenges for material distributors and merchants and the future prognosis for the industry. Berkeley Modular’s factory was the setting for the new PM and Chancellor’s attention immediately following the launch of the new government Growth Plan and signifies the role of advanded manufacturing and perhaps very different construction supply chains in forming part of the newly announced Investment Zones.
