As part of Cast Contribution, Cast teamed up with Thames21 to do its part in cleaning up the River Thames.
Thames21 are a charity that aims to rebuild the relationship between communities and their rivers, restoring river health and boosting well-being and community cohesion in the process.
Cast took part in a ‘river clean’ along the Thames at Battersea, collecting litter and clearing the banks whilst the tide was out and is pleased to have been involved in rewilding and protecting the landscape.
In total there were 35 black sacks of waste collected from the south side of Battersea Bridge. This included wet wipes, plastic bottles, food wrappers, pieces of clothing, and two hard hats.
