Cast has been appointed to undertake the crucial Progamme Management Office (PMO) role on the groundbreaking 4 year Offsite Homes Alliance (OSHA) framework. Using a client led approach to aggregating the demand of its 23 alliance partner housing associations and local authorities, the PMO will be responsible for acting as an intelligent client support & advisory function and for providing specialist strategic and project technical support during the currency of the framework through to 2027.
We recognise that a major market failure in the adoption of MMC is the lack of standardisation in client requirements that drive manufacturing scale and efficiencies whilst also allowing individual choice and flexibility. We have already worked with OSHA to help design the early stage tools including DfMA designs and commercial arrangements to align the newly appointed Cat 1 & 2 MMC supply chain panels and are delighted to be able to continue our involvement having been selected through a competitive process.
We look forward to helping OSHA prove the value of this framework and attracting new members into the alliance who are interested in leveraging the centralised resources and delivery capability that OSHA offers.
