The Welsh Government recently launched its social housing strategy which has clearly linked the provision of more affordable housing in Wales with the drive towards decarbonising homebuilding and incentivising Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). As part of this, they have adopted the MMC Definition Framework — a strategy that Cast helped to formulate on behalf of the UK Government via the MHCLG MMC Working Group.
